Vedaearth - goodness of mother nature

Hi everyone, I know I have been missing in action for quite some time but now I have something really exciting for you! A few days ago I received a package from Veda Earth. It was a quiet Sunday and I was reading a book while sipping on my cup of coffee. As soon as I opened the package I got a wonderful smell. Let me tell you a little something about the brand Veda Earth. They are a group of kind people who believe in the goodness of Organic products. What I received from them - vedaearth anti ageing face pack + facial oil combo + a cute little wooden spoon.

Claims on the package : you can't go back in time but your skin can. Look out! Here comes younger looking skin with this wonderful combo of oil and face pack made with only the best ingredients known to fight wrinkles. The products work in Synergy on your skin that help rejuvenate skin cells, reduce fine lines and moisturize the skin. Think of it as a superfood smoothie, but for your skin.

Ingredients of the anti aging face pack: multani mitti, Rose dried flower Petals, manjistha dried root, aloe vera leaf extract, Papaya leaf extract, Ashwagandha dried root, Rosemary oil and potassium sorbate.

Ingredients of anti aging facial oil : almond seed, Sesame seed, Apricot kernel, neroli flower, vetiver root, Ashwagandha root, fennel, seed German chamomile flower, Vitamin E commerce Soya lecithin and jojoba oil.

Dose : about 5 to 10 grams of face pack mixed with 5 drops of anti aging facial oil or as directed by the physician

Directions for use: mix required quantity of pack with oil and rose water or water to make a thick paste, apply it on face and neck and leave it on for 15 minutes. Dampen face before gently washing with water. Avoid scrubbing, for best results apply daily.

The packaging of the products : the face pack is in powdered form and comes in a tight glass container which looks like a jar provided with a lid which is air tight. The glass jar is quite thick and I don't think it's a good idea to drop the jar it might break.
Although it is travel friendly I would recommend carrying them in a self sealing cover or pouch so that the contents don't gets spilled. The facial oil on the other hand is filled in a cute blue bottle made of plastic and provided with a golden flip top lid, it is very easy to carry around and also very travel friendly. The package also contains a thick wooden spoon which can be further used for other face packs as well.

The consistency of the products: the face pack is finely powdered and you have to handle it with a little caution because as it is an amorphous solid, A lot of the product can get wasted if not kept properly.

How I applied : I took a clean bowl without any traces of water. I added 2 to 3 teaspoons of the powdered face pack into the bowl, after that I added 3 to 4 drops of facial oil. At this point I found out that 2 to 3 drops of oil was not sufficient for the Powder to become creamy enough so I added quantity sufficient rose water externally. The facepack soon became creamy enough to be put on my face it took the form of a soothing brick red colour. I stirred the contents of the bowl with the wooden spoon until and unless there were no lumps.
