My experience at Kosmoderma

You know, during winters a girl gotta take care of herself! The skin becomes patchy and dry and has to be nourished all the time.... This is one of the many struggles of being a girl! Ofcourse boys face it too.. 

Anyways so let's talk about my experience at kosmoderma.. a few days ago I booked an appointment at kosmoderma JP Nagar branch. Two days prior to the appointment I was informed about the status of the appointment. I was kept well informed.

However I was trying to cope up with immense amount of stress from my studies and exams at that time. The person who was in contact with me, Disha is really a great person, she was very helpful. I was also offered a complementary doctors consultation along with a special medi facial. The Day I was off to kosmoderma, my appointment was confirmed in the morning.

When I arrived, I was a tad bit late because their Google location has some glitch! The office was really beautifully decorated with Christmas decorations.. As soon as I entered I was offered drinks... I was asked to fill a form about my allergies or medical conditions and was asked to wait.. But it was worth the wait as I met their skin specialist doctor at the consultation...

Doctor Jeethan M is an amazing Dermatologist and cosmetologist who addressed all my hair and skin problems. He was very kind and handled all my concerns with expertise. He also told me I drank too little water, which I'm guilty of! Hehe! Doctor told me that my skin was considerably good (not that I'm boasting) and I only needed a lightening and brightening medifacial. 

They have other varieties such as purify medifacial (for acne prone skin) as well.

Without much ado I stepped into the facial room. I was readily provided with fresh towels. The therapist who handled medifacial treatment was introduced to me. She had another person to assist her.
I changed in to temporary clothes, provided by them. They maintain highly hygenic conditions.

The facial happened in a number of steps, first cleansing was done. All the products they use are 100% safe to use and Dermatologically certified. I asked for information on the products but I was told it's a secret recipe! ;)
They used some kind of a suction force to clear my blackheads and whiteheads out, which was very satisfying. My face became 100% bump free during the treatment. I noticed a natural glow in my face.

After cleansing steps such as exfoliation, peeling followed. At one point of time my face itched during peeling. This is because my dead skin cells were peeling off my face. It only lasted for a few minutes.. Phew....

As I was done I nearly dozed off! It's actually a relaxing spa like experience.
I was asked to wear sunscreen all the time, not wash my face with hard soap for 2 days and not to undergo any other skin treatments in the week. I also got a goodie bag of 2 kosmoderma products which I'll be reviewing soon.

The doctor also said that the real glow can be noticed after two days. And how he was right! I really saw a great change in the texture of my skin. A healthy skin is a gateway to healthy life. I had a very good experience with Kosmoderma.

My opinions : I absolutely loved the treatment. If you want to get pampered like a princess you can visit kosmoderma. Their hospitality is unmatched.

My skin now: I have noticed a few bumps on my face two to three days after the treatment, they're gone now. Yet to use their products!

Would I recommend kosmoderma?
Yes I will!

Cons: their treatments can be a tad bit costly.

Packaging and appearance of the products : the products come in small plastic bottles with golden caps and pretty labels in the front. Sometimes the caps might come across as flimsy but I assure you they are hardy enough to be a part of your travelling kit.
The bottles are travel friendly. The product inside each individual bottle is filled up to the brim. For the green clay face wash I thought that the container was actually green, but later I discovered that it was the colour of the face wash present inside the bottle!

1. French green clay skin illuminating and oil control face wash: specially formulated to illuminate your skin and give an even skin tone . The excellent absorbent properties of French green clay remove excess oil while giving your skin a detoxifying beauty treatment. Aloe vera seeds and moisturizers your skin.

texture and colour : a very pretty parrot green in colour and also thick in texture.

My experience : this face was smells heavenly. the only thing I didn't like about this product is that it dries up the face too much. I always have to apply a thick moisturizer to prevent the moisture from drying off my face. On the other hand It is very much affordable and a very good quality face wash can be obtained at a very low price. You don't have to break your bank to look beautiful! All my girls out there with oily and acne prone skin this is a miracle product for you!

2. Moroccan argan oil hair serum:
Especial nourishing hair serum infused with Moroccan argan oil. Deeply smoothens the hair with a non greasy feel and forms a protective layer on the hairs surface to keep it from Illusion and heat. Leaves hair healthy and Shiny.

Key ingredients : Moroccan argan oil, jojoba oil, almond oil, olive oil in specially formulated Base.

Directions to use: take a few drops only apply on towel dried or dry hair. Comb with your fingers to remove tangles gently.

Texture and colour: has no colour and is completely crystal clear the texture is very much silky and it leaves a smooth shine on the hair.

My experience: this hair serum is one of the most essential products in my hair care routine! this is such a good serum that I have even replaced my L'Oreal one with it. It smells heavenly. The only thing I didn't like about this product that it weighs down the hair if you do not wash it more often. My hair has to be completely dry in order to apply this serum otherwise it might get sticky. Otherwise this serum has done a good job in keeping my hair Shiny and manageable without any frizz but I did not see any noticeable change in the strength of my hair strands.

3. Neem Crush anti acne face wash:
Neem has been know as a best Anti Acne Ingredient in Ayurveda since a very long time. This Face Wash is infused with Organic Neem Leaves, Tulsi, Turmeric and Hibiscus to fight Acne and give you a clear skin.

My experience : my experience with this face was has been good, I was having very few nearly visible Acne spots on my face which disappeared when I use this  for about 1 months! I would recommend to use it in the morning just after waking up, as it provides with a refreshing feeling and the formula is quite gel like and forms lather easily. It is also easy to wash off.
It is also very affordable and best suited for oily acne prone skin.

Pros : 1. International brand and well known products. Reliable and easily available.
2. So much affordable and the packaging is decent.
3. Shows visible results with regular use.
4. Completely cruelty free, hundred percent veg, eco friendly.

Cons: 1. Some products may not work as well as others.
2. While travelling packaging might be an issue.

Hi everyone, I know I have been missing in action for quite some time but now I have something really exciting for you! A few days ago I received a package from Veda Earth. It was a quiet Sunday and I was reading a book while sipping on my cup of coffee. As soon as I opened the package I got a wonderful smell. The smell was like wet earth after an episode of blissful rain... seems tempting enough? read on to know more💘

Let me tell you a little something about the brand Veda Earth. They are a group of kind people who believe in the goodness of Organic products. I was keeping contact with one of their representatives named Ambika who was very sweet to me! Anyways, VedaEarth always manufactures products 100 % eco friendly, vegan and cruelty free. What I received from them - vedaearth anti ageing face pack + facial oil combo + a cute little wooden spoon.

Claims on the package : you can't go back in time but your skin can. Look out! Here comes younger looking skin with this wonderful combo of oil and face pack made with only the best ingredients known to fight wrinkles. The products work in Synergy on your skin that help rejuvenate skin cells, reduce fine lines and moisturize the skin. Think of it as a superfood smoothie, but for your skin.

Ingredients of the anti aging face pack: multani mitti, Rose dried flower Petals, manjistha dried root, aloe vera leaf extract, Papaya leaf extract, Ashwagandha dried root, Rosemary oil and potassium sorbate.

Ingredients of anti aging facial oil : almond seed, Sesame seed, Apricot kernel, neroli flower, vetiver root, Ashwagandha root, fennel, seed German chamomile flower, Vitamin E commerce Soya lecithin and jojoba oil.

Dose : about 5 to 10 grams of face pack mixed with 5 drops of anti aging facial oil or as directed by the physician

Directions for use: mix required quantity of pack with oil and rose water or water to make a thick paste, apply it on face and neck and leave it on for 15 minutes. Dampen face before gently washing with water. Avoid scrubbing, for best results apply daily.

warning: for external use only and not for children or pregnant women.
storage: keep in a cool dry and dark place.

The packaging of the products : the face pack is in powdered form and comes in a tight glass container which looks like a jar provided with a lid which is air tight. The glass jar is quite thick and I don't think it's a good idea to drop the jar it might break.
Although it is travel friendly I would recommend carrying them in a self sealing cover or pouch so that the contents don't gets spilled. The facial oil on the other hand is filled in a cute blue bottle made of plastic and provided with a golden flip top lid, it is very easy to carry around and also very travel friendly. The package also contains a thick wooden spoon which can be further used for other face packs as well.

The consistency of the products: the face pack is finely powdered and you have to handle it with a little caution because as it is an amorphous solid, A lot of the product can get wasted if not kept properly.

How I applied : I took a clean bowl without any traces of water. I added 2 to 3 teaspoons of the powdered face pack into the bowl, after that I added 3 to 4 drops of facial oil. At this point I found out that 2 to 3 drops of oil was not sufficient for the Powder to become creamy enough so I added quantity sufficient rose water externally. The facepack soon became creamy enough to be put on my face it took the form of a soothing brick red colour. I stirred the contents of the bowl with the wooden spoon until and unless there were no lumps.

Today I'm gonna talk about a new beauty store from Hyderabad named sahbeautysolutions. They have organic, 100 % cruelty free products. Their products are completely handmade with love.

Now, I have had a few experiences with Instagram based stores, all of them were not so good. But I have to be honest with you, I was skeptic at first but SAH beauty solutions sent their products within a very short amount of time! I was really impressed by the costumer care, the person in charge of the page is a total sweetheart, a budding entrepreneur.

All their products are either made from edible or completely organic source. They are paraben free, SLS free and also free from any harmful chemicals. SAH beauty solutions do not test their products on animals. Now I have seen their rigorous process of manufacture. You can check them out on their Instagram page. 

Now, let's talk about their products!
The first thing I tried is KHALEESI bath powder! C'mon, with a name like that who wouldn't be intrigued to try it? I'm a huge fan of game of thrones! So it was hard for me to resist it, I must admit the naming was quite innovative on their part.

Packaging : the products come in yellow capped plastic containers with clean labels, partially handwritten.
The name of the products are provided on the label written with the help of a black marker pen. However, I was disappointed because there are no other information mentioned. What about the ingredients? What about the quantity?

Hi there, I know it's been quite some time since I posted, but here I am! How are you all doing? hope you are all doing just fine! A few days ago I came across a brand named "Song of India". I was pretty much amused by the name and ventured to find out about their products. After sometime I contacted with them and they sent me one of the best PR packages I have ever received! let me tell you a little something about the brand. Inside the box there was a letter wishing my well being enclosed in a royal style envelope! All the products felt like they were giving out an ancient India Royal Vibe... I like how they were all golden colour themed and it all seemed very retro to me.
Well I would like to be honest with my readers , I do not have much experience in using Aroma home decor pieces but Once I got my hands on them I completely fell in love with the products. The products are mesmerizingly beautiful and unique.

1. Desi gulab scented candle : It is perfect for one of those candle lit dinners you dream of having with your hubby! The wax while burning gives are out a faint Rose scented Aroma which keeps the room freshened for a very long time. However, I would advise to open the windows as candles burning in closed rooms can be suffocating.
"It is velvety to touch and heavenly to smell the desi Gulab is an all-time favourite. The Subtle fragnance of rose is wonderfully fresh one week of this romantic floral note and we are sure you will fall in love with it"

2. Nagpuri narangi Reed diffuser : At first I couldn't figure out how it works ,but my hubby seems to have a little idea about Aroma products! He guided me, we had to open the cork lid with a cork opener which was provided inside the package. They sure do take care of everything!
So it comes with a set of wooden sticks and a glass bottle filled with scented liquid. The wooden sticks have to be dipped in scented liquid and placed in the bottles so they can give out fresh Aroma throughout the course of time. We have to keep inverting them at small intervals so as to renew the refreshing smell. It hd a very calm and faint smell but I LOVED IT.

I found this product quite fascinating as I haven't ever used a Reed diffuser before I can swear by it that my room never smelled so good before. This tantalizing citrus ascent of fresh oranges in fuses the Ambience with its vibrant energy and vitality. Its fragrance works like a charm to uplift and rejuvenate the mind.

3. Madurai Jasmine room freshener: This one is my favourites out of the lot as only two sprays from this refreshing bottle can change the atmosphere of your whole room! When I was younger I loved the tantalizing smell of jasmine flowers, I used to keep Jasmine flowers in a bowl and keep it in the corner of my room, so that I can be reminded of the beauty of nature every time I smelt the aromatic fragrance coming out from the beautiful white flowers! Memories came flooding to me as I got my hands on this product and I am so very happy to have received it!

Nothing beats the beautiful Saint of jasmine Blossoms and fresh Mogra its soft, delicate floral aroma infuses the Ambience with the lovely lingering fresh fragrance.

4.mysore chandan aroma oil :
You have to add a few drops of this heavenly smelling oil to your diffuser or oil burner. I was really impressed how two drops did the work! As you have heard that Mysore is famous for the Chandan or Sandalwood we get from it, this oil is made from that Sandalwood and hence the magical smell. The captivating scent of sandalwood soothes all the senses and relaxes the mind this fragrance transports you to a blissful state of calm and tranquil.

5. Aroma oil burner and tea light : It is a very cute tea light with a hollow space held up by a stand. The held up space contains an oil burner and aromatic oils can be dropped into it so as to receive a refreshing fragrance. It is perfect for your tea table and acts as a really good room decor. 
You can even use it to light up your table beside the bed in the bedroom.However, do be cautious about the burning candle.

Instagram deactivated my account having 27.5k followers without any warning

My Instagram name is @_all_things_real_ and I had a base of 27.5k followers. I have been so much loyal to Instagram since I started out about 5 years ago. This Saturday when I tried to check my notifications, I discovered that my account was deleted without a warning.

I was literally shocked because I have not violated any guidelines. My mom and I was going through the Internet like crazies trying to find a reason why Instagram deactivated my account.

Then I realized something! People have been abusing the "report" button. I built my profile from scratch and it obviously affects my career as a blogger. Instagram doesn't even have an email address or something. I contacted them saying it was a mistake, have not heard from them since.

I am so heartbroken right now. I can't fathom the thought of my blood sweat going to hell. All those hours of work I put in my posts! This is just so disappointing.

When Instagram gives everyone the power to abuse the report button, I guess this was bound to happen. 

I have no clue what to do next. I won't even bother starting a new page because I just feel dead disappointed right now.

Some of my friends said Instagram was facing a bug issue where people's profiles are getting deleted without a reason. That maybe the case but at least give us some kind of a warning! Or a quick resolve. When fellow competitors are so bitter with hatred, the report button suddenly becomes a weapon. 

Something similar happened with my friends account too, she hasn't been able to get it back. God knows what will happen next. My faith on INSTAGRAM is totally shook.

I never violated a single Instagram rule! I always posted my beauty blog pictures or my personal selfies. See for yourself.

I request Instagram to give me my account back. 

I didn't have a Facebook page, so my account was personal and not a business one. I participated in few giveaways and sweepstakes and I think my competitors reported against me. That is so vile. I even blocked certain spam accounts to prevent them from spamming my feed. But still, how can Instagram discard my hard work like it was nothing?
Let's see what happens.

I have to give them credit for having such an innovative idea of making their products very tropical oriented. So, naturally the product packaging gives out a very beachy vibe. I even got small seashells in my courier package and thought the idea was a genius one!💚💚💚

Each of the lip moisturizer come in a small tube and they are absolutely travel friendly and can be carried around in hand bags or makeup bags. They are hundred percent natural, organic and hundred percent pure! The best thing about them is they come with spf 15 as a protection from harmful sun rays and help in nourishing, softening, soothening and replenishing your lips needs. Also they are petroleum free and non toxic, safe to use. I love it when an organic product gives you natural sun protection. As I have always been scared of pigmented lips, these have been a lifesaver for me. 💜💜💜

Most of the times, petroleum jelly is found to be in lip balm products because it is a cheaper alternative which many brands resort to, but with Island kiss and their petroleum free formula you can use it safely, whenever you want under the sun! What are you?

Do you know who is an ambivert? Read on to know if you are one!

An ambivert is a person who has a balance of extrovert and introvert features in their personality. Well that sounds promising, but why might it be a bad thing? Also how can you turn this to be your strong point?

Please keep in mind when I say its important that you know when to open up and when not to. All my life I have faced a problem with opening myself up to the right person and it has hampered my relationship in numerous countless ways.
Finally through some years of maturity I have understood that I have to create a striking balance between being an introvert as well as being an extrovert.
That's when I will be known as a perfect ambivert.

Being an ambivert, I realise that I have a lot of unique traits in my character, like when I am happy I am socializing but when my social battery dies I turn into a complete different person! Please don't mix ambiverts up with two faced people for people with completely different PERSONALITIES. Being an ambivert means you are the same person and you remain the same person, just your socializing skills adapt accordingly.

Now to some people we might come across as arrogant but that's not the whole story! the whole story is when we tell you that we can't really choose between who to socialize with and whom not to socialize with. It's like we are stuck in between two endless worlds of possibilities. I am not saying that being an ambivert is a bad thing but when not used in the right way can seriously leave  wrong impression on other people. This might sound stupid, but to avoid awkward situation you have to actually practice talking to yourself when you are alone. I have tried this technique and it genuinely helped me a lot. It helped me to boost my confidence, to bring up a lot of new ideas on my own and to become my own best friend. In this way, your introvert side will get nourished. Talking to yourself will also help you in controlling what comes out off your mouth.

I think I have always been half out of my shell and half in. Sometimes I can be extremely wild and sometimes I can be extremely shy, it just depends on the day. I think I am not the only person here who says that we need our own alone time so that we can recharge ourselves.
